Tongji University is a university directly under the Ministry of Education, which is the national "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project". Research achievements of Tongji University
By the end of 20 14 and 12, the school had undertaken a series of major national special projects and major engineering research projects, and achieved landmark scientific research achievements such as key technologies of long-span bridges, seismic and disaster prevention technologies of structures, intelligent guidance of urban traffic, urban sewage treatment, research and development of new energy vehicles, intelligent greenhouses for home use, ocean drilling, and molecular genetics of atrial fibrillation.
Published in the world's top academic journals Science, Nature and Review of Modern Physics; There are 22 professors in Tongji University who are the chief scientists of the "973 Plan" project (including major scientific research projects). Among them, "Key Technologies for Seismic Design of Long-span and High-pier Bridges" won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2009, "Molecular Genetics and Cell Electrophysiology Research of Atrial Fibrillation" and "Fine Theory of Flutter and Buffeting of Extra-large Bridges" won the second prize of the National Natural Science Award in 2005 and 20 10 respectively.
