Xingtai University is located in Xingtai, a famous city in Zhao Yan and an ancient county, and is known as the "Millennium Capital". It is a full-time undergraduate college jointly established by provinces and cities. In September 2020, the school was approved by the Ministry of Education as the construction unit of China's excellent traditional cultural heritage base (Yao Xing White Porcelain), and in February 2020, the school was approved as the second batch of pilot schools for the transformation and development of ordinary undergraduate universities into applied technology universities in Hebei Province.
