1. Open the document, click Insert in the toolbar above the document, and then select Page Number.

2. Choose the position of the page number according to your own needs, such as the red arrow "Footer Center".

3. Back to the Word document, you can see that there is a footer at the bottom of the page, and you can also edit and select the desired "page number" type where the red box is marked.

4. Starting from the start page, you can choose to renumber it, which can be set in the page number setting. The Style drop-down item has many serial number formats to choose from.

5. Select "Page 65438 +0 * * *", select "whole document" or "this page and beyond" as appropriate, and then click "OK", as shown in the format circled in red.
