The word "Personality" comes from the Latin word "persona", which originally refers to the special facial makeup worn by the characters on the stage, and it indicates the identity, personality and role characteristics of the characters in the play. "Mask" refers to personality, which contains two meanings: various behaviors that people show on the stage of life, and a person's true self. In the west, there are roughly three types of modern personality: the most popular one is to define personality as a state in which physiology, physical structure and psychological consciousness are all externalized; The second emphasizes individual differences and expresses individual content from the consistency of individual psychological and behavioral characteristics; The third is to define personality from the process of human life, emphasizing the environment, social influence and related factors of acquired learning. [1] The most representative one was put forward by Ahlport. He believes that personality is the true appearance of a person, and personality is the dynamic organization in the internal psychological and physiological system of an individual, which determines the uniqueness of people's adaptation to the environment. The word personality does not appear in China's ancient books. Liang Qichao said in Xinmin Shuo that "loyalty and filial piety are two virtues, and the elements of personality are also important." It is a reflection of China's traditional cultural values to equate "loyalty and filial piety" with "personality" and discuss personality from the perspective of virtue ethics. [2] Professor Chen Zhonggeng believes in his Personality Psychology that "personality is the inherent tendency of individuals in behavior, which is manifested as a person's constantly changing synthesis, a lasting self with dynamic consistency and continuity, and a physical and mental organization that gives people characteristics in the process of socialization." This formulation emphasizes four aspects of personality: a complete person, a persistent and unified self, a distinctive individual and a socialized object. This is a more authoritative formulation in China. The author believes that personality is a comprehensive concept of a person's physiology, psychology and social behavior, the sum of a person's internal quality and external behavior, and a unique self formed in the process of socialization. Personality has distinct uniqueness and times. It is the unity of body and mind, internal and external. It includes various personality factors such as psychological process, cognitive ability, behavioral motivation, emotional response, interpersonal relationship, attitude and belief, moral values, aesthetic taste and so on. What is a healthy personality? It is difficult to give an exact definition of this. So far, many scholars have only described what it is not. "We have every reason to do so. We really don't know what constitutes a healthy personality. Because psychologists working in this field have almost no consensus. " [3] But Schultz still quoted seven healthy personality models of western personality theorists, namely Ahlport's "healthy and mature person"; Rogers' The Man with Perfect Function; Fromm's Creative Man; Maslow's Self-fulfilling Man; Jung's "individualized man"; Frank's Transcendental Man; The common feature of People at the Moment by Pierce is that they are optimistic about human nature, think that people can and must transcend biological nature and environmental characteristics, and believe that people have the potential to expand, enrich, develop and improve themselves, and the realization of these potentials will become a healthy personality. Some scholars in China have also put forward their own healthy personality standards. Professor Sha Lianxiang is a more authoritative one. He believes that people with healthy personalities have jobs, in which they can achieve success and develop their potential. People with healthy personality have friends, so they should have a proper understanding of themselves and be able to accept themselves. People with healthy personality can keep good contact with the real environment and deal with various problems in life in practical ways instead of trying to escape. What is the standard of college students' healthy personality? The author believes that the standard of college students' healthy personality must be put forward under the guidance of Marxist theory of all-round development of human beings, combined with the training objectives of socialist universities and the actual situation of college students. Comrade Mao Zedong once put forward the standard of "a person with all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique". Deng Xiaoping further inherited and developed this standard and put forward the standard of "having ideals, morality, education and discipline", which pointed out the direction for us to explore the healthy personality standard of college students. Therefore, as far as the specific characteristics are concerned, the healthy personality of college students should meet the following standards: (1) Have lofty and stable goals. Have firm socialist beliefs and lofty socialist ideals, and have a scientific world outlook and outlook on life. (2) Have a strong sense of moral responsibility. Can correctly handle all kinds of relationships in life and work, with socialism and collectivism as the core, with good qualities such as honesty, modesty and prudence, respect for the elderly and love for the young. (3) Have correct self-cognition. Be able to know yourself correctly, evaluate yourself objectively, be self-respecting, confident and accept yourself; Self-monitoring, self-regulation, and efforts to develop physical and mental potential; Can keep balance with the environment. (4) Good emotional control ability. Always maintain a happy, cheerful and optimistic mood, be able to vent and relieve negative emotions reasonably, and have a sense of humor. (5) Good social adaptability. Can correctly observe and understand social phenomena, care about social changes and development, make their own thoughts and behaviors keep up with the mainstream of social development, and have strong adaptability to the new environment. (6) Have a harmonious interpersonal relationship. In interpersonal relationships, they can communicate and understand each other, respect and trust others more than jealousy and doubt, and can also be respected and accepted by others. (7) Have an optimistic attitude towards life. Full of hope and confidence in the future and life. Have a strong interest in study and work, and give full play to their potential; Face difficulties and setbacks bravely, and try to overcome them and cheer up. (8) Have a healthy and noble aesthetic taste. Have a correct aesthetic ideal, attitude, taste and pursuit of beauty; Resist the erosion of decadent ideas of low taste. Engels pointed out: "People's character is caused by the environment." [4] With the deepening of China's reform and opening up, especially the gradual establishment and improvement of the socialist market economic system, the wave of social change also affects the formation and development of contemporary college students' personality. On the one hand, creating a good social and cultural atmosphere provides a living mechanism for shaping college students' healthy personality. Thoughts such as talent view, fairness view, competition view and interest view have influenced the orientation of college students' personality values. They care about national and social progress, support reform and opening up, and their sense of participation and competition has been greatly enhanced. Enthusiasm for learning, creativity and other internal vitality are stimulated, and they are eager to stand on their own feet and have a strong sense of success. They pursue the self-improvement of life value, attach importance to material interests, advocate spiritual civilization and pay attention to moral cultivation; It not only emphasizes the development of personality, but also cares about the fate of the motherland. In a word, the mainstream of current college students' realistic personality is healthy, pragmatic and positive. On the other hand, the negative effects of social transformation and market economy also make some college students confused and confused, which conflicts with social development, resulting in inconsistent behaviors and concepts, distorted personality and other phenomena, resulting in alienation of personality, that is, a series of contrasts between realistic personality and healthy personality. Mainly in the following aspects: 1. Self-awareness presents negative characteristics and one-sided thinking in advance. For example, they don't know enough about social and political issues, but they think they are "smart" and make comments; The contradiction between "ideal self" and "realistic self" is caused by excessive expectations for future career pursuit and improper overestimation of oneself; Self-expansion shows blindness, and they easily confuse the difference between fantasy and reality. They are either blindly self-confident, narcissistic and blindly belittle themselves, and "subject self" is opposite to "social self"; Due to the anomie of value norms, some college students have absorbed all kinds of life values superficially, resulting in psychological conflicts, so they often adopt negative self-defense mechanisms, such as suppression, escape, modification, rebellious behavior and so on. In order to gain an illusory sense of self-worth; Distortion of personality disorder, when their unrealistic hopes fail and their illusory sense of success falls to a low point, they will lose their minds and go their separate ways. Among them, paranoid and antisocial personality distortions are more common. 2. Psychological imbalance and pathological changes. Mainly manifested as general psychological discomfort, but also some psychopathy, mental illness, and even suicide. According to the statistics of college sports acceptance in Tianjin, more than 16% of college students are psychologically unhealthy to varying degrees. The investigation of Jiangxi Youth League Committee on the mental health status of college students in the province shows that about 25.3% of them suffer from mental illness. According to the survey of Shantou University 65438-0992, the rate of moderate and low-level psychological disorder is 46.44%. These statistics show that college students are a high incidence group of morbid personality. The main symptoms are autism, depression, depression, terror, anxiety and indifference. 3. The confusion of political beliefs. As builders and successors of the socialist cause, contemporary college students should take Marxism-Leninism and Mao Zedong Thought as their political beliefs. However, the survey shows that 23% of college students are indifferent and skeptical about the scientific nature of Marxism-Leninism. According to a survey conducted by Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, 54.3% of college students have faith crisis, and 64.7% of them believe in fate or sometimes. A survey of 26 universities in Beijing Normal University shows that 52.7% of the students think that "in the ocean of religion, a boat can feel a quiet harbor", and only 6% of the students are firmly opposed to "college students believe in religion". "The lack of faith has become a lingering confusion at the turn of the century." [5] 4. The evolution of values and the imbalance of moral behavior. First of all, the values of contemporary college students have changed obviously. The subject of value has changed from social standard to individual standard, the value orientation has changed from emphasizing ideals to emphasizing utility, and the value goal has changed from monism to diversification. Although these changes have their reasonable factors, they also show some obvious negative effects. According to a survey, 25 ~ 40% of students deny the collectivism view that "the matter of the individual is no matter how big, the matter of the country is no matter how small", and 59% of college students agree with the view that "subjectively for themselves and objectively for others" affirms personal needs. Even nearly half of the students agree with or a little agree with the extreme individualism view that "every man for himself, the devil takes the hindmost". Contemporary college students pay attention to themselves, but at the same time, they downplay the pursuit of ideals. In terms of ideas, the tendency of secularization, utilitarianism and materialization is becoming more and more obvious. According to the questionnaire, when answering "What is the greatest happiness in life", only 64% students choose "to contribute to society", 4% students choose "to achieve * * * productism", 28% students choose "fame and fortune", and 13.6% students choose "having money is the greatest happiness in life". When faced with graduation assignment, 68% students want to go to foreign-funded enterprises with high income and developed coastal areas, and 0.6% students express their willingness to go to the most difficult places in the motherland. Secondly, moral decline and deviant behavior. Some college students overemphasize personal interests, ignore and ignore the needs of others, collectives and society, and only talk about rights, not obligations. At present, plan for yourself first. Among college students, there are not only truancy and cheating in exams that violate school rules and disciplines, but also crimes. Among more than 60 colleges and universities in Beijing, 0.6% are criminal students and 67-68% are college students. [6] College students' love concept has also undergone tremendous changes, and sexual crimes have also occurred from time to time. According to the survey of "sexual civilization" in China, 73% of college students agree or somewhat agree that "the result of love is not necessarily marriage", 42% think that unmarried sex is possible if it is based on love, 36.25% think it can happen if both parties are willing, and only 20.7% think it should be condemned. [7] Third, through the above analysis, it shows that the standard contrast between college students' realistic personality and healthy personality is great. Eliminating this contrast has become an urgent task for ideological and political workers and educators in colleges and universities. 1. Highlight the education of world outlook, ideals and beliefs. We should guide college students to study Marxism, treat life and social problems with scientific attitudes of dialectical materialism and historical materialism, overcome all kinds of doubts among college students, and advocate a positive and healthy cultural mentality. At present, it is especially necessary to strengthen the study and education of Socialism with Chinese characteristics Theory and the Party's basic line, strengthen the education of patriotism, collectivism and socialism, advocate stressing ideals and dedication, and help college students establish a correct outlook on life and the world. 2. Strengthen the subject's self-awareness. In the personality structure of college students, self-awareness plays a very important role. It affects and restricts the formation of college students' personality, is the internal motivation of college students' initiative, and is an important factor for their success and achievement. Therefore, in the process of shaping college students' healthy personality, we should strengthen the subject's self-awareness: First, we should properly handle the relationship between individuals and society, "self-design" should be unified with social development, self-struggle should be unified with social needs, and self-value should be unified with social values. The second is to give full play to the role of college students' self-education, so that they can dissect, evaluate and control themselves from the aspects of morality, political quality and ideology, so that college students can choose their ideal personality goals and personality development paths according to the requirements of real social development and shape their healthy personality. 3. Make psychological adjustment. Health not only means that a person has no disability or disease, but also means that a person has good physical, psychological and social adaptability. Many of the deviations of college students' true personality mentioned above are caused by mental illness. To carry out psychological adjustment, we must first help college students learn to adjust themselves, such as evaluating themselves correctly and objectively, enhancing their ability to adapt to life, and perfecting psychological defense mechanisms. In addition, we should also help psychological adjustment through necessary social adaptation. We believe that strengthening the construction of campus culture and carrying out psychological consultation are all effective ways to adapt to society. 4. Actively participate in social practice. Social factors are important factors in personality structure. Personality is formed under certain social and historical conditions, and can only be developed and improved through social practice and social communication. The formation of a healthy personality cannot be achieved by thinking behind closed doors like an ascetic monk. We should deepen our understanding of personality, further understand ourselves and society, and constantly enrich, improve and perfect ourselves in social practice. Combining with workers, peasants and practice is an important way to shape college students' healthy personality. 5. Strengthen moral education. Individual personality is a moral subject in different degrees, and morality is one of the important factors of personality composition. Moral concept and moral cultivation reflect the ideological quality of the personality subject and determine its personality characteristics. To strengthen moral education, we must first strengthen the education of basic civilization. If a college student doesn't even have the most basic civilization, it is difficult to talk about shaping a healthy personality. The second is to strengthen collectivism education. The essence of morality is the reflection of interests, and moral principles are the basic principles to deal with individual interests and overall interests. Collectivism is the basic requirement of socialist morality. Therefore, it is necessary to educate students to correctly handle the interests of individuals and collectives, and closely combine the future of individuals with the development of the whole country. Persist in opposing extreme individualism, egoism and hedonism, and reshape healthy personality with socialist collectivism morality. 6. Carry out aesthetic education. People's aesthetics is the need and enjoyment of supernaturalism, which works together with people's cognitive ability and moral rationality ability to bring people into a higher spiritual realm and improve their personality. Aesthetic education includes morphological education (knowing beauty), aesthetic education (feeling beauty) and creating beauty. Infiltrate aesthetic education into moral education, intellectual education and physical education, educate aesthetic concepts and values, cultivate college students' love of beauty, guide truth with beauty, guide goodness with beauty, reach the highest state of unity of truth, goodness and beauty, and realize the perfection of personality.
