Yan Zhenqing's regular script "Magu Xiantan Ji"

Yan Zhenqing (709-785), minister, was born in Jingzhao Wannian (now Xi, Shaanxi). He used to be the prefect of the plain, known as "Yan Plain" in the world. He is an official of the official department, an official of the prince and an official of the army, so he is also called "Yan Taishi" and "Yan". Yan Zhitui, a family history of Yan Zhenqing, is the fifth ancestor of Yan Zhitui, a famous scholar in Northern Qi Dynasty, and the author of Yan Jiaxun. According to records, Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy was greatly influenced by her in-laws, Yin Jia, and also absorbed the brushwork of Chu Suiliang and Zhang Xu. He also discussed the tricks of using a pen with Huai Su. After middle age, he finally broke through the stereotype of "four schools in the early Tang Dynasty" and created a new book style with full muscles and strong bones, which was later called "Yan Ti". His paintings and calligraphy are thick and full, with broad and regular structure and dense and rich composition, which embodies the heroic, strong and solemn artistic style. In the northern song dynasty, Zhu respected Yan Zhenqing as a "miracle" in his book "Continued Book Break", and said: "It originated from the pen, so it is resolute and strong, and its body is strict and well prepared, like a loyal minister and a righteous man, standing in a positive color and can't win big festivals."

The full name of "Magu Xiantan" is "Magu Mountain Xiantan in Nancheng County, Fuzhou in Tang Dynasty", which is the representative work of Yan Zhenqing's regular script. The monument was erected in the sixth year of the Tang Dynasty (AD 77 1) and was later destroyed by lightning. It has a copy of the original extension. The inscription is vigorous and simple, with strong bone strength, the change of line thickness tends to be gentle, and the strokes are less tortuous. When using a pen, there is a "silkworm head swallow tail" with more strokes. Because of its thick lines, in order to leave blank space in the middle palace of the word and avoid crowding, it has to try its best to spread around, and the extended writing method has been pushed to the extreme. Later, Yan Jia Temple Monument was vigorous, but it was not as broad, dignified, resolute and majestic as before. Ma Gu Xian Tan Ji is a classic in the history of Chinese calligraphy and one of the excellent models for us to learn regular script.

I can only say sorry!
